Challenges of GRITS

These are obstacles I found while using GRITS:

• The GRITS system can prove to be difficult when searching for patients due to name or address changes. 
• The provider administering and uploading into GRITS sometimes must assume patient names and address changes to ensure that the patient in the system matches the immunization record being entered. This could lead to double or missing records.
• Not every provider who administers vaccinations enters them into the GRITS system properly or timely. This could cause loss of records or over administering a vaccination to an individual.
